| As General Manager for AE Smith’s automated controls business – AE Smith Building Technologies – Adam Bek leads a team of highly skilled people in the design, manufacture, sale, installation, commissioning and servicing of Direct Digital Controls, Building Management Systems, Access Control, Surveillance and Integrated Security Systems. Commencing with AE Smith in early 2009, and with close to 20 years experience in the area of controls in both industrial and building automation, Adam has a strong background in understanding customer needs in applying new technologies. “New Technology doesn’t instantly translate to benefits”, says Adam. “Understanding customer needs and realising that they will determine benefits is critical to succeeding in the modern marketplace”.
