Chiller Monitoring

Chiller Monitoring

Chillers are the largest single energy consumer in most facilities, accounting for up to 35%* of electrical power use. Chillers can waste a substantial amount of energy through inefficiency.

Traditional chiller energy management practice was to provide enough cooling to meet the needs of the facility, while minimising run hours. This method failed to address the substantial energy reductions achievable through improved chiller performance.

Current Chiller Monitoring technology now delivers this through advanced operating efficiency analysis and diagnostics.

EffTrack is a customised software system that collects operating data and performs complex engineering analysis.
This compares ‘actual’ to ‘design level’ efficiency at any operating condition and system load, produces performance statistics and delivers fault detecting diagnostics and problem notification. It additionally delivers an accurate operating cost and environmental impact report. This is structured so that different users can access equipment information at multiple locations and different stakeholders can access various levels of information to suit their particular requirements.

This delivers a superior level of chiller energy management.
