| Danny commenced his career in the construction and building services industry in 1969 and progressed through site management and project management roles to general management responsibilities in maintenance and facilities management organisations. In 1988 he was engaged by the organisation now known as Asset Services to establish a maintenance program for all built assets and engineering services at Australia's Antarctic Research Stations. Danny was appointed State Manager Asset Services Tasmania in 1991 and led the implementation of the change initiatives that took that organisation from a Department of State to a public company. Danny joined AE Smith in 1996 and has held General Manager positions in the Service Division in Tasmania and South East Queensland. He joined the Executive Team in 2005 in the role of National Safety Manager and is responsible for the effectiveness of the Workplace Health & Safety and Environment programs, and the establishment of programs for Mentoring, Structured Training and Succession Planning for the company. Danny is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM), an Affiliate member of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration Air Conditioning & Heating (AIRAH) and a Registered General Builder in the State of Queensland. |
