The business was formed into the AE Smith & Son Pty Ltd company

Acquired T O’Connor & Sons Pty Ltd (Queensland Division) and JR Wylie Pty Ltd (market leader throughout Queensland with regional offices in Townsville, Mackay and Darwin)

AE Smith developed Linc Service and becomes established as a national provider of air conditioning service

AE Smith Technologies division established using AutoMatrix product
