The Brisbane AE Smith team swapped suit, ties and safety vests for footy jumpers in April to raise money for Beyond Blue

The charity that provides services for Australian’s battling depression, created Footy Jumper Friday on April 24 and thousands of people – including Prime Minister Kevin Rudd – participated.

The event caused quite a stir at AE Smith Brisbane, where disputes over League, Union or AFL and the Wallabies versus The All Blacks ensued.

Raising money for Beyond Blue was the real aim of the game - National Safety Manager Danny O’Reilly (above right) and AE Smith Service Projects Consultant Bryan Little (above left) dared to swap national jerseys in the spirit of the cause.
