These prestigious awards are arranged by the United Nations Association of Australia to acknowledge actions being taken at a local level that have a global impact.

The 2008 awards are themed, ‘Kick the Habit! Towards a Low Carbon Economy’ and focus on taking responsibility to reduce our dependence on carbon as part of our lifestyles and working practices.

Sara Gipton, Greenfleet CEO said, "Greenfleet’s selection as a finalist is really recognition of the tremendous efforts of our supporters and I would like to thank [them] for [their] ongoing commitment to the cause."
