Brian retired as Executive Director Property and Lending with AXA Asia Pacific Group (formerly National Mutual Group) in July 1998. He has over 35 years experience in superannuation, financial services and property investment. A former National President, he is one of only 7 members to have been awarded National Life Membership of the Property Council of Australia. He was Chairman of Industry Super Property Trust Pty Ltd one of Australia’s largest unlisted property trust managers for 6 years from 1998 to 2004.
Brian is currently Chairman of Clive Peeters Limited, AE Smith & Son Pty Ltd, ME Portfolio Management Ltd and Deputy Chairman of Becton Property Group. Brian is also a director of Programmed Maintenance Services Limited, Industry Funds Management Pty Ltd and Macquarie Real Estate Equity Funds’ Nos 1 - 5 Pty Ltd. Age 61.

|  |  | Andrew joined AE Smith in 1991 after an extensive training period in the United States of America. Initially he was responsible for the service division and oversaw its transformation from a poor performing operation to a well respected and profitable business. Andrew then moved into an executive role in the Corporate Office and in 2004 was appointed CEO. He subsequently became the sole shareholder in November 2004.
Prior to joining AE Smith, Andrew held several sales and marketing roles after graduating from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Commerce. Since then he has developed strong sales and marketing skills, good strategic planning skills and gained excellent people and financial management experience. Andrew has developed considerable experience in identifying and evaluating potential businesses for acquisition, and then following through from negotiation to integration.
Recently, Andrew completed the Owner President Management Program at Harvard University in Boston which is an executive program specifically designed for owners and managers of family and private companies.

|  | | Adrian Clark > Chief Financial Officer

|  |  | Adrian has completed his Bachelor of Commerce and CPA degrees. He has gained extensive experience in the industry through a variety of roles with Tyco International – a US based company and Australia’s largest subcontract building services provider. He held a number of Victorian based roles between 1989 and 1999, reaching the role of Financial Controller, responsible for Tyco’s five business units in contracting and service in the areas of air conditioning, fire alarms, fire sprinklers, electrical and security.
Adrian commenced with AE Smith & Son in early 2000 in the role of Chief Financial Officer reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

|  | | David Seedsman > Regional General Manager, Construction South

|  |  | David has over 48 years experience within the construction industry holding a number of roles with companies including DH Armstrong, AG Coombs and now AE Smith & Son.
David commenced as an apprentice plumbing/air conditioning technician with DH Armstrong in 1955 and was awarded the Victorian Overseas Scholarship in Plumbing in 1963 enabling him to study in the UK and Belgium. He returned to Australia in 1966 and commenced employment with AG Coombs where he progressed through roles of Senior Estimator, Project Manager, Construction Manager and eventually General Manager/Director.
David commenced with AE Smith & Son as the National Construction Manager in 1996 and has held other roles including General Manager, Victoria Construction, Business Development Manager and is currently the Regional General Manager of the Southern Region which includes Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales.
David has also been involved with the Air conditioning & Mechanical Contractors Association (AMCA) – Victoria in the capacity of President and was also a member of the Industrial Secretariat of AMCA and the Master Plumbers Association.

|  |  | Aldo Cevaal has worked across a number of industry sectors including Transport, Publishing and Media. He has an outstanding track record for the delivery of profitable growth. He has achieved this through the development and implementation of sound strategic plans. Having formal marketing qualifications the focus has always been on effective sales processes supported by formalised account management procedures that ensure client retention and ongoing profitability.
Sustainability of these successes is ensured by the implementation of user friendly duplicable procedures that result in a homogeneous business model. Although his strength is strategic planning his understanding of what role the individual plays and the investment he makes in these individuals ensure the overall delivery of the business objective through an empowered focused team.

|  | | Danny O'Reilly > National Safety Manager

|  |  | Danny commenced his career in the construction and building services industry in 1969 and progressed through site management and project management roles to general management responsibilities in maintenance and facilities management organisations. In 1988 he was engaged by the organisation now known as Asset Services to establish a maintenance program for all built assets and engineering services at Australia's Antarctic Research Stations. Danny was appointed State Manager Asset Services Tasmania in 1991 and led the implementation of the change initiatives that took that organisation from a Department of State to a public company.
Danny joined AE Smith in 1996 and has held General Manager positions in the Service Division in Tasmania and South East Queensland. He joined the Executive Team in 2005 in the role of National Safety Manager and is responsible for the effectiveness of the Workplace Health & Safety and Environment programs, and the establishment of programs for Mentoring, Structured Training and Succession Planning for the company.
Danny is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM), an Affiliate member of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration Air Conditioning & Heating (AIRAH) and a Registered General Builder in the State of Queensland.
