Remote Monitoring Case study

Design limitations of Chillers located on the ninth floor of a building in Perth caused them to fail under certain load conditions in Summer. Several hours would pass before tenants would notice and only then notify the building owner who could initiate an emergency service call to AE Smith.

To the added frustration of tenants, even after AE Smith was able to repair the offending chiller and restore "normal" air conditioning, the resultant heat load that had accumulated inside the building would take further time to normalise.
