AE Smith's Team RACAH hit the streets of Melbourne in one of the city’s largest fun runs

Running to raise money seemed a fitting way for AE Smith to continue its association with one of Australia’s leading children’s hospitals.

RACAH – the AE Smith/AG Coombs joint venture delivering air conditioning and mechanical services to the new Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne – fielded 20 runners in the annual Run For The Kids event last week that raised $924,172 for the hospital.

For many participants, it was part of their ongoing participation and involvement in AE Smith’s sports and fitness program – that’s seen many employees around the country sign up to AE Smith teams to compete in various fun runs, challenges, triathlons and corporate games.

“It’s a great buzz representing AE Smith in this major fun run, working as a team on our fitness and supporting a great cause,” comments Raymond Lee, AE Smith’s Marketing Manager – and coordinator of the Melbourne offices weekly Team Fitness Program.
