Why act now?

In our experience there can be significant delays in obtaining an official NABERS Energy Rating (as an example, a recent Rating conducted took over seven months to complete). There are many issues which can delay a Rating including:

> Incorrect or insufficient metering
> Missing data
> Data not in the format required by the complex and strict NABERS rules.

These issues can not only delay the Rating, they can have a negative impact on the number of stars achieved and in some cases even prevent an official Rating.

Once issues are rectified it will take 12 months of operation for the changes to take full effect on the NABERS Rating.

Consider the following scenario:

> An office space at the minimum 2000m2 becomes available for lease
> Market rent is $250/m2 p.a.
> The space cannot be advertised without a valid NABERS Energy Rating
> Any delays in securing a new lease would result
in lost revenue of $40,000 per month!
