AE Smith has added another prestigious industry accolade to its collection for their work on the newly completed $115 million Darwin Convention Centre.

The 2008 Engineering Excellence Award was presented to AE Smith at the
Engineers Australia Northern Division’s annual Engineering Awards this month.

The coveted top honour was shared with a team of engineering companies appointed as the Convention Centre’s fire engineers.

“We’re very proud to have been recognised at this level for such a high profile project,” comments Mark Jacobson, AE Smith’s Engineering Manager for Queensland.
